This complete kitchen renovation included removal of a dividing wall, existing cabinets, flooring and existing windows. A new french door with windows to either side was installed in the breakfast area. New electric, plumbing, heating and gas lines were installed. The ceiling was reframed to include soffits to accentuate the new lighting components and cabinet layout. Solid maple cabinets, Giallo Venetia granite counters with Butterfly accents, glass tile backsplash, and porcelain tile floor with glass tile inlays were all custom fabricated for this kitchen. In addition custom millwork with matching maple doors were fabricated by aOi to infill specific areas. Featured appliances include Fisher Paykel 5 burner gas cooktop with Kitchen Aid slide-out fume hood, GE convection microwave oven with stainless interior, Bosch electric convection oven, ISE instant hot water and two Blanco undermount sinks. The new design inproved flow through this heavily trafficked area of the house as well as providing direct access to the yard.
